人間 – Ways to say People or Human in Japanese
There are a few different ways to say people or human in Japanese. If you are learning Japanese likely you will at one point be talking to or about people or humans so it is a good thing to know how to say. Let’s take a look.

How to say Human in Japanese?
人間 is the word for human in Japanese. This word is similar to how human is used in English. So, basically, 人間 would be referring to a person in the biological sense in comparison to other animals. But, sometimes people may say 人間 to mean person or people. This would be a way to explain what kind of person someone is maybe, or to talk about people in general.

Next, we have 人類 which sounds even more scientific than 人間. 人類 means the human race or homo sapiens. The difference between these two words is 人類 refers to the entire human species and 人間 can refer to humans in general or sometimes a specific person.

人 means people or person in Japanese. This is the most common word you will use when talking about people.
