There are many different Japanese Autumn fruits. For example, Grapes, figs, pears, chestnuts, and persimmons. Hear is when they are in season and how to say them in Japanese.

葡萄 Budou (Grapes), June to October

Grapes are called budou and in Japan they are in season from June to October.

イチジク Ichijiku (Fig), July to October

日本梨 Nihon-Nashi (Japanese Pears), August to October

Japanese Pears are rounder than western ones. They are like the shape of apples. Their season is from August to October.

栗 Kuri (Chestnuts), September to November

Nuts are actually fruits and Chestnuts are called kuri in Japanese. They are available in season from September to November but available throughout the year.

柿 Kaki (Persimmon), September to December

Another type of Japanese autumn fruits are Kaki. Kaki is the word for persimmons. They are in season from September to December.
